Tell the Good News

Aug 19, 2018    Matt Santen

This message closes out the Story Worth Sharing series by focusing on how to actually share the gospel with others. Using the story of Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8, the sermon highlights how evangelism often begins with a simple prompting from God. Philip didn’t have a strategic plan—he just obeyed. Through his story, we’re challenged to do four things: respond quickly when God prompts us, trust that He’s already working in people’s hearts, ask intentional questions, and eventually open our mouths to share the gospel clearly. It’s not about having perfect words or instant results—it’s about showing up, being available, and letting God do the rest. Whether we see immediate fruit or not, our role is to plant seeds and step into the adventure of partnering with God in His mission to reach people.
