What To Expect
What time are services?
We meet every Sunday morning at 9:45 and 11:15 for our main worship services. Throughout the week, we do not host Sunday night or Wednesday night services, but we do have life groups that meet throughout the week at different locations and times!
What is a typical Sunday service like?
Our Sunday services are designed to be engaging, encouraging, and easy to follow—even if you’ve never been to church before. You can expect upbeat, modern music led by a live band, a practical message that connects with real life, and a relaxed, come-as-you-are atmosphere.
Before and between services, we offer free coffee, tea, juice, and donuts in the lobby—so come early, grab a drink, and feel free to hang out!

Do I need to dress up?
No need to dress up—just come as you are! Most people at our church wear casual clothes like jeans, t-shirts, or whatever they feel comfortable in. Whether you’re coming straight from work, chasing kids out the door, or just rolling in with coffee in hand, you’ll fit right in.
What is offered for my kids?
We love kids and students at River Ridge! RidgeKids is our fun, safe, and age-appropriate environment for children from birth through 5th grade. Whether your child is in the nursery, preschool, or elementary, they’ll experience God’s love through caring volunteers, engaging Bible teaching, and meaningful relationships. For students in 6th–8th grade, we offer MSM (Middle School Ministry), where they can grow in their faith, meet some amazing volunteers, and build friendships in a space designed just for them. Our goal is to help the next generation take real steps in following Jesus—while giving parents tools to keep the conversation going at home.
Will I be singled out as a guest?
Not at all! We want you to feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. You won’t be asked to stand up or introduce yourself during the service. If you’re a first-time guest, we’d love for you to stop by the Welcome Desk and turn in a Connect Card—we have a small gift just to say thanks for joining us!
How can I become more connected with the church?
There are lots of ways to get connected at River Ridge! You can join a Life Group to build friendships and grow in your faith with others, jump into a serving team to make a difference, or check out upcoming events to meet new people. We also offer occasional classes—like our theology class—if you want to dive deeper into what we believe. The best first step is to stop by the Welcome Desk or fill out a Connect Card so we can help you find what’s right for you!
