Simple Peace

In week two of Simple Christmas, we focus on the deep peace Jesus came to bring—not just peace around us, but peace with God. Using Romans 5:1 as the foundation, we learn that peace doesn’t come from better circumstances or fewer problems. True peace begins when we are made right with God through faith in Christ. This peace—shalom—isn’t just the absence of conflict; it’s the presence of God. And when we experience that presence, it changes everything: our past, our present, our future, our relationships, even how we view ourselves. Peace with God begins with faith in Christ and is sustained by daily submission to Him. No matter what chaos may swirl around us, we can have peace within—because Christ is with us.
