Simple Hope
Dec 3, 2017 • Matt Santen
In this kickoff to the Simple Christmas series, the message centers on reclaiming the heart of the season by focusing on one powerful theme: hope. Through scriptures in Isaiah and Romans, we’re reminded that biblical hope isn’t wishful thinking—it’s a confident expectation that God will do what He says He will do. But often, we misplace our hope—trusting in money, relationships, or even our own expectations of what God *should* do. This message calls us back to anchoring our hope in *God Himself*, not just our desired outcomes. When we do that, Romans 15:13 reminds us that hope overflows into peace and joy, shaping how we live not just during Christmas, but every day.
