Pride
In week two of the Killing It series, this message confronts one of the most destructive and hidden sins in our lives—pride. Rooted in Jesus’ strong words to the Pharisees in Matthew 23, the sermon exposes how pride poisons our relationships with others and with God. Unlike more visible sins, pride is subtle and often goes unnoticed, yet it drives us to compare, control, deflect blame, and hide behind appearances. Through honest reflection, practical questions, and engaging stories, we’re challenged to admit where pride shows up, release control, let minor things go, and focus on internal transformation over external image. The goal isn’t just behavior change—it’s humility that creates space for deeper connection with God and healthier relationships with people.
