What's The Difference?

In week one of the More Than Happy series, we explore the difference between fleeting happiness and lasting joy. Through Paul’s words in Philippians 1, we see that true joy doesn’t come from perfect circumstances—but from Christ in us. Writing from prison, Paul doesn’t ask, “Why me?” He asks, “What now?” and “Who matters?” His answer is clear: the gospel matters, people matter, and Christ is everything. Whether in hardship or uncertainty, joy is possible when we stop chasing external fixes and start living from the inside out. For Paul, joy was a choice rooted in a deep resolve: “For me, to live is Christ.”
