Jesus and the Legion

In this message from the Road Trip with Jesus series, we walk through one of the most dramatic encounters in the Gospels: Jesus' interaction with a man possessed by a legion of demons in Mark 5. While the story might seem extreme or even unsettling at first, it powerfully illustrates how Jesus brings healing, hope, and restoration to even the most hopeless situations. The man was isolated, tormented, and beyond human help—yet Jesus met him with compassion, cast out the demons, and restored him to his right mind. The story challenges us to consider our own areas of brokenness and hopelessness and reminds us that while we may not face literal demons, we all face spiritual battles.
